1. What MotorLoom Provides
MotorLoom provides independent vehicle diagnostic guidance based on the information you provide. Our service helps you:
- Identify likely causes of vehicle issues based on reported symptoms
- Understand how urgent an issue may be
- Understand typical UK repair cost ranges
- Prepare informed questions before speaking with a garage
- Check to buy helps you understand known faults for that make/model
- Seller declaration is there a guide that seller is genuine based on information they provide in declaration
MotorLoom does not carry out physical inspections and is not a replacement for a qualified mechanic. Results are for guidance only.
2. Use of the Service
You may use MotorLoom for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide is as accurate as possible. You should not rely on MotorLoom as the sole basis for decisions involving safety-critical repairs.
3. Payments and Pricing
Certain features, including your full diagnostic report, require a one-off payment of £1.99. All prices are shown clearly before payment is taken. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds & Report Accuracy - Because each report is generated and delivered to you instantly at the point of payment, we're unable to offer refunds once a report has been created. By purchasing, you agree that you're requesting immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that this means you give up any standard cooling-off/cancellation right you'd otherwise have for online purchases. Reports are based on the vehicle details and information you provide and are intended as general guidance only — they're not a substitute for a qualified mechanic's inspection or diagnosis, and we can't be held responsible for decisions made, or costs incurred, based on the information in a report. If you believe a report contains a genuine technical error, contact us at support@motorloom.co.uk and we'll happily take a look and issue another report free.

5. Accuracy and Limitations
MotorLoom aims to provide helpful, realistic guidance. However, vehicle issues can have multiple causes and a definitive diagnosis can only be confirmed by physical inspection by a qualified mechanic.
MotorLoom does not guarantee that all identified causes will apply to your specific vehicle. Results are based solely on the information you provide.
6. Liability
MotorLoom is not responsible for decisions made based on the guidance provided, costs incurred at garages, or damage resulting from continued vehicle use. You use MotorLoom at your own discretion.
Our liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the report in question.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on MotorLoom, including diagnostic reports, text and design, is the property of MotorLoom. Reports are for your personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the service following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
